Neighborhood Mini-Tour with Bronzeville Historical Society and Bronzeville Sounds & Color: Boxville African-Caribbean Market!

Join the Bronzeville Historical Society at 2:30pm for a mini-tour of the neighborhood, led from the community garden at 51st and Calumet. BHS Founder Sherry Williams will share highlights of Bronzeville history, culture and arts. Then at 4pm, Boxville’s popular Market Wednesdays summer series will feature delectable West African cuisine prepared by Iyanze Bronze (Chef Emmanuel Abidemi) and Bahamian cuisine prepared by Island Tings (Chef Jeffrey Crittenden), vibrant music, dancers, and unique vendors.
