Autumn Ballad with Daegeum, a Bamboo Flute from Korea

Experience a rare opportunity to listen to the sound of a Daegeum, a traditional Korean bamboo flute, played by an artist-in-residence at the Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago, along with other woodwind accompaniments. Participants will listen to both traditional 16th century Korean music and Western-influenced pieces composed for Daegeum.
